I took my car to the dealership for an oil change since it was due and I was driving up to Atlanta in a couple of days. Of course they told me that I also needed some additional work- brake fluid flush and check a small engine oil leak. So when I got to Atlanta, I went to Mike's auto. I had been taking my xterra there for a couple of years prior to moving and they had always been very fair and affordable. They checked everything out and found nothing that needed to be done. I wish I lived closer because these guys are terrific.

My wife and I were traveling back to NC from New Orleans before our vehicle became disabled. They did an excellent job in obtaining the parts and getting us back on the road within hours Thanks for all you did.

Charges half as much as Firestone across the street. Nice, friendly, down to earth, and honest. One of the few remaining good ole boys left in the industry. Don't rush him, he's gonna take his time to get the job done right!

After bringing my truck in to have over heating problem taken care of, that would be taken care of by my after market warranty insurance coverage. I should have turned around as I got a bad feeling from guy in the office speaking negative of the situation & after market coverages, telling me they probably won't cover my repairs needed and mentioning to me he is a "HONEST MAN" in the middle of conversation. Where I'm from if a person has to tell you they are HONEST chances are they aren't very HONEST. After diagnostic/test it was found my 2005 Silverado needed a water pump. Water pump replaced & covered by warranty but now shop says I need new engine or rebuild which warranty denied coverage after sending out a 3rd party adjuster/investigator. In third parties report it states shop reported engine damage came from customers continued use of vehicle when overheated. Which is false and have no idea were they came with that claim, as told shop when I brought in it overheated and I pulled over to a gas station and observed what was going on. Long story short I'm in cohoots with warranty company on getting additional repairs needed covered. As I go into shop to pickup my truck knowingly I have a $100 deductible from my warranty company. The shop additionally adds the diagnostic fee to bill. Diagnostic fees are always waived from repair shops when you have the repairs performed. Atleast from the 100s of other auto repair shops I've been to but this guy says he's never heard of that and never waived diagnostic fees. I will never take any of my other vehicles to this shop and warn anybody who does to watch out for their deceitful strong arm tactics on getting you to pay diagnostic fees even after you have the repair done.
